Looking for advice and recommendations,wanting to upgrade the speakers in the front of my 2004 fabia vrs.

Experiences welcome,also anyone know the max depth for fitment ?

I don't know exact depth but it's not very deep so you'll need shallow mount if you don't want too much work/modification

I'm guessing you want something a little better than stock because you've not ssaid what type of music you listen to or budget.

I'd look at stuff from CDT, Hertz, Focal, DLS to name a few.

60-62mm deep with Golf MK4 spacers. The speaker basket edge touches the door card so I'd say that's about it.

Golf mk4 or MDF spacers or similar with 165mm or 6.5" speakers is usual.
