Evening!

So I've got a set of ap calipers sat in my room waiting to be fitted. They won't clear my Ibiza fr wheels (even with 10mm spacers).

Have any of you boys ran these under octy spiders? If so what size spacer was required? I'm after some alloys that look fairly oem, I know TT alloys clear but they don't look standard at all!

Fr+ and Ibiza cupra alloys seem to be like rocking horse **** :(

They are wider than brembo`s so not without a hefty spacer i`m afraid. Lucky boy having a set though, been looking, they are like rocking horse ****.

Doh! I don't wanna put a massive spacer up front really, may just get a set of tt's to tide me over until I find something I really like. I've had them 2 months and it's a shame they're say there and I can't use them :(

Ditch the octy wheels as you need a spacer even for brembos!

Get some old audi s3 wheels (clear brembos) but even then you may need a 5-10mm spacer....

Or try get some ibiza cupra 17's

I have the opposite problem, my 312`s look lost behind my TD 3`s so am hunting for some bigger brakes to fill them out more. Tricky finding decent sized wheels that still look OEM+ though.

Haha tell me about it Matt! I like the sleeper look, the old s3 avus are pretty cool, I know TT 6 spokes clear as the lad I got the brakes off ran with them. I may hold out a little longer for some cupra alloys.

They'll certainly fill the alloy, shame they only run a 312 disc tbh :p

Wouldnt worry too much about disc size

Brembos are only 11mm bigger

Its the 4 pot setup that is nice (head hits front window)

I got a set of the TT alloys to clear my Brembos with no spacers.

To be frank I didn't like them at all, stuck out so the face of the alloy was outside the line of the front wing.

Heaven knows how much they stick out with spacers!

I need them as soon as cos my 288's(?) are on their last legs. Looking forward to head butting the window each stop!

Edit- just seen your post Rich, I know what you mean and that fat spokes don't look to suit very well. TT doesn't need spacers for ap's either, what size spacer did you need to clear brembos with your spiders?

I got a set of S3`s for my winter wheels, quite subtle, not sure how they would look on the ibiza though. FR+ are the ones to get IMO, they have a nice straight spoke as oppose to the strange 50p coin look of the Cupra wheels.

8mm.

The gap is about 1mm at most.
