aftermarket CD player

Featured Replies

Hi

Just bought a 2005 (55) 1.9 Skoda Fabia for the wife as a run around but I need to change the factory fitted radio cassette player. I've bought a Kenwood KDC-BT41U and also the plastic facia/antenna kit etc.

I've read somewhere that yellow/red cables need to be swapped. Is that right?

Thanks for any help

Cheers

if it doesnt keep memory with pre set stations etc then yeah that's what to do

Hi mate

Yes that's exactly what has happened. No radio stations are being held in memory when ignition is turned off. Will swap the red yellow wire over.

Another quick question... I added an antenna (fits between the car aerial and the cd player) but it also has a blue wire running out of it. On the wiring that came with the cd plyer there is a blue wire that says Antenn Cont. Can you connect these 2 blue wires together? I am getting radio station but not the whole range.

Cheers for any help
