Fitting my FMIC this week and having stripped car down am thinking of how to mount the MAP sensor to the piping.

Thinking I could use an old MAF sensor housing with the MAP sensor screwed in????

Will it work... I don't see why not but do any of you guys see a problem that I haven't??

Depends whether a MAF housing will be ok taking over a bar of pressure, normally its just having air sucked through it. Forge and some other companies do sell a short bit of metal boost pipe with a MAP sensor fitment.

Isn't the shape of the MAP and MAF pretty different?

Got mine from forge as c and c exhausts made up my inter cooler pipe work from pipes I mocked up
