Hello, just bought 59 reg Skoda Octavia 1.6tdi with 35,000 on clock, only had the car for 3 weeks and already problems, DPF light came on and car power loss, so was looking for info on the net when i came across BRISKODA and found out that this seems to be a common problem. My previous car was a Seat Alhambra (55 reg)with the 1.9tdi engine which i parted with recently with 120,000 miles and never had any problems with it. Anyway the car is with the dealers who reluctly agreed to inspect the car under warranty, i will find out next couple of days their findings and proposal to fix or not. Tariq
