Overtake baby!

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just thought i'd share...something pointless really but i managed to overtake 12 cars on a 30 mile return journey in my 1.2 fabia! On the A5 to Bletchley.

Anyone do something simliar enough to do that? Or you all too mature for stuff like that?!

Yes :)

Steve

I can't see the point in moving out of the outside lane these days ;-) everyone else is going way too slow for me.

If you stay in the fastlane like one of those hoggers then IMHO you will end up going SLOWER most of the time ;)

The slow lane tends to be empty on a lot of roads I drive on daily, and I tend to just stick there and drive past all those in the fast lane, who are doing 60-ish mph during busy times... Not always true, but most of the time, during the week, it seems to be :)

To be fair the A5 is pretty dead to bletchley!

If you see me, you can try and overtake lol

And the other side of the coin is that when I drove through the 50mph limit on the A1 at Buckden yesterday at 50mph, I was overtaken by a long stream of cars completely ignoring that limit. Even the artic immediately ahead of me ignored the speed limit. :(

Had the speedtrap van been parked in the usual place, many of those speeders would have been caught. :)
