Hi, I am posting this question in both the Fabia and the Octavia Forum to get some balanced responses.

I am from Thailand and there is no Octavia RS, but I could get the Fabia RS or an Octavia 1.8 tSI tuned by MTM to 200hp. Price wise they are about 5,000 Euro different (it might come as a shock, but the Fabia RS is sold here for about 35,000 Euro and the Octavia 40,000 - all car prices here in Thailand are about double from Europe :(.....)

Not sure which one to go for, is a 1.8 TSI tuned good fun as well?

Don't really need the space of the Octavia, but would like a good driving car. Octavia surely has the better looking interior!

any comments or suggestions from those who have owned or driven both?

Fabia vRS. It will feel and look more special and be quicker too as it's lighter.

The Fabia will have a DSG gearbox. My 2008 Octy is tuned to stage 1 and is fantastic to drive. It's the 1st car I've owned which I haven't become bored with and it's nearly 4 years old.
