hi all i need to replace my brake light in my octavia estate and i was wondering if their was a guide on here i can't find or could someone tell me how to do it?? thanks

You need to remove the plastic surround on the inside of the boot lid that runs around the top and sides of the rear window.

Be warned though the clips are pull/push fit and are easily broken if they aren't pulled out correctly. Don't do it when it's cold as they'll be brittle and less forgivable. Once you get your fingers under it you can feel where the clips are which helps.

Once the plastic trim is off the brake light is fastened to the boot lid using two plastic threaded nuts. Undo these and disconnect the electrical conector and it's off.
