Problem in reading the temperature outside the car

reading 10c and the realy Degree is 23

or reading -4 and the realy Degree is 19

and in the same day give Correct reading .

where can i found the sensor to clean it

or how can u help me

Look behind the front bumper grill.

Has it affected your MPG? The fuel system needs to know the incoming air temperature to work out how much oxygen the engine is breathing in (there's more oxygen in colder air than in hot air), and then it can calculate how much fuel it needs to add to get just the right fuel/oxygen mix for optimum combustion.

It shouldn't affect the running of the engine. Engine ECUs usually measure the incoming air temperature using either the MAP or MAF sensor rather than these external temp sensors.
