So my rear wiper motor is going crazy, usual water leakage problem, so I'm going to swap it.

I'm just having an issue finding the right part.

The part number of the one fitted currently is:

1Z5 955 711

However I can't find that part online, I can only find:

1Z5 955 711A and 1Z5 955 711B

Both say they are for my make/model/year car, but I'd rather be sure so hopefully someone here will know.

Now are these just later revisions of the same part, i.e. will fit my car? or are they actually different parts, and I need to find a part without the A or B suffix.

They are revisions, try and get the latest version as it will incorporate the fixes found for water ingress etc my car was the same part number as yours and I bought the 'A' version (which was significantly different to the original I took out) and it's been fine.

Edited to add I got mine from an eBay seller by the username of "number1forskoda" last year, very good service from him and he has two of them in stock

number1forskoda is the parts dept of Rainworth Skoda in Mansfield. They run a good operation.
