Factory Cd Changer With Aftermarket Radio

Featured Replies

Hello, is there is a way to use the factory Skoda 6 CD changer with a aftermarket radio??

Also, if I put a bass box in the trunk do the hi bass boom will make the CDs to jump/skip?

No headunit that works with the changer as far as I'm aware -

hence one of the reasons I changed the whole lot of mine.

I shouldn't think a bass box would cause the CD changer to skip

that much if it's got decent buffering - whether the standard one

has or not, I don't know!

Unless its really big bass, there shouldn't be a problem - you'll probably blow your back window out before you get the multichanger to skip... :D

how much bass.... with 4 x 15" rockford powers we made the h/u skip in a bmw after we had mounted it in a a weld in box on a floating damped platform...

I have a nice Pioneer 8" passive sub-woofer with a DLS ultimate amplifier, it sounds good enough.

I've changed my frontspeakers and replaced them with Infiniti Kappa series (with tweeters & filters) and it sounds amazing.

The stock-speakers are REALLY, and I mean REALLY lame. Poor quality!

Cheers,

FD
