I use my trunk a lot to carry many things every day so I really prefer not to put a bass box in the trunk.

Is there is a posibility to put a bass speker or a bass box on top of the spare wheel? What I mean take out the foam that carry the tools and on top of the spare wheel put the Bass box or what ever and then put the factory trunk mat/carpet.............I want something thats look STELTH.

have any body has picture or recomendations?

Are you planning on leaving the spare wheel in place and just removing the tool box?

If you've got an octy, i'd think you're better off building an enclosure to fit on one side of the boot, nestled next to the wheel arch...

Well, I have not planing anything yet. This is only an

idea.

I have seen in some car sound magazine this thing and I am intersted to hear is somebody has do it this in a Octavia.

If you remove the tool box and put upside down the spare wheel its look like enoug space for a woofer enclosure.

It's certainly possible - as long as you get a sub that's shallow enough to fit and are happy building some sort of enclosure for it. Chuck a grill over the top and the boot should still be fine to use

This is a easy one: I will put the amp under the drivers seat.

It would probably work fine, although personally I'd want the amp as close to the sub as possible!

Have you thought about something like a Stealth Box - might be possible to build your own...

Hey Stimps, thank you for that web page. I am also considering modifie my shelf to support heavy 6x9 speakers.

My best buddy has also a Octavia 1.8T and I going to help him first to intall the amplifers, speakers, etc

So I will see first his intallation and then I will do my:D :D You know, I will learn from the mistakes

He also use a lot his trunk, so he need also something stealh.
