looking at getting some for my 55 vrs, do i need shortened drop links or are they similar to my old fabia vrs kw v1's that used oem length drop links?

Would you do me a massive favor when you fit them? Just wondering if you would try them wound up for abit and tell me what they are like, I'm thinking about coil overs but don't want to lower the car for normal road use due to the stupid new speed cushions the council are installing Ta m8

Ive had mine wound down and up near std and I can say they are spot on when up near std hight.

rear down 10mm on std (ish) and front 20-25mm ish.

Rear nice and tight mate and transform the car IMO.

Lowest Ive been:

That Hight looks stunning IMHO but very bouncy and choppy and the handling was better than std but not as good as up at std hight. personally lower than that looks poo to me and would be a total pig to drive in.

This is what I am at now and its extreamly nice. Could do with going a slight bit up on the rear or down on the front, not 100% yet. Prob go down with the KWv3's but I am trying to stay level on the wishbones for the handling.

All these are very subtle changes to the ride hight but OMG even 5-10mm up makes a massive change

Was just wondering what sort of height are you running from floor to top of wheel arch.

You'd be better going center of the to the arch , due to different tyre sizes and rims etc

RAF_ - me and Bodge both had ours dropped 20mm on Weitecs (I think Bodge's might have been 15mm one end and 20mm the other?) and were fine, great handling, no problems at all on speedbumps or ferry ramps:

reckon my car might end up higher than it is now, 135k suspension would of sagged by loads lol

On the VRS you should be fine with the standard drop links.
