KW's fitted

Featured Replies

Fitted and lowered 30mm. Not as extreme as Jasons. Car now brakes and accelerates better. No dive and I can now run with the traction control off, the front is not unloading under acceleration. What a difference, corners about 15mph faster than before. Not yet tried speedbumps but on the road it's just a little harser than standard. Looking forward to Knockhill trackday now.

Nice

Sounds good. Any pics?

So the rides still nice?

hmm interesting, defo like to see some picture and maybe you could post a review for others. ;)

How much better is it under braking now (I take it you have a stardand setup)

Mike, it makes it majorly better under braking and unless you're standing on the brakes, you'll not notice any dive at all :D

Running standard brakes at the moment but have 312's ready to go on. After this, I'm wondering if I need an upgrade. As said above no drive unless stamping on them even then minimal. The springs seem perfect for the car. Only fear is speed bumps but I'll let you know. And I could lower it another 35mm yet, don't think I would even attemt that.

After all the other shinny post's I'll have to wash it I presume for the pics. I'd rather drive it than wash it. So will dirty pictures do.

Chris or Black magic, does it stop some of the twitchy-ness under braking?

If you mean the back-end goes light, then yes, the whole car remains much more level under braking and it feels more planted.... :D

I agree with the above, I think a lot of the braking improvement has to do with the rears becoming effective. The no diving under braking is amazing for your confidence in the car.

Dirty pictures will indeed be aceptable!! ;)
