I put a Columbus in my car and it has video capability so the obvious thing is to see if it works. I put a disc in and it played the preamble up to when you have to use the selection menu to play the disc. I can't see any way to actually use the menu selection, no remote, no mouse etc so am I missing something obvious or is it a no go. If that is the case what exactly can I play on this thing as all commercial DVD have a selection menu on them, or all the ones I know of do.

press the extras tab, the screen splits then you will have some arrows and that to move though the menu.
