Seatbelt warning light/buzzer

Featured Replies

Probably a really stupid question but,

Should an 06 Fabia VRs have a light or buzzer to warn if the seatbelts aren't on? Mine doesn't, which seems a bit odd. It was suggested they may not come on under 5mph (by a Golf GTi owner) but speed doesn't seem to be the answer either.

I wonder if someone's removed a fuse...

Ah - thanks.

I'm so used to driving nag-o-matics, erm sorry Volvos (we've had two in recent times) that I kind of expected it to have them.

Cheers

Iain

Depends on where the seat belt stalk is bolted to, If they are bolted to the side of the seats as per Haynes book of fables then they will give a warning signal.

If bolted to the side of the centre tunnel then they have no wires attached to them to send a warning signal.
