Rear number plate screws?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

just a quick one, the number plates on mine were looking a bit tired so thought id replace them with some new ones, as i went to take the rear one of i noticed that one of the heads of the mounting screw had been snapped off and has seized into the rivsert style fixing to the boot. has anyone else had this and whats the best solution, is it just to drill it out and fit a new rivsert?

Cheers Ross

I had to drill mine out as the screws were seized in, my rear plate is now stuck on

yup drill out and either stick on, or get some anti tamper screws, the last set i had were plastic and courtesy of the police believe it or not!
