Symphony + Parrot MKi9200

Featured Replies

Hello Guys!

I have a Skoda Superb '05 with Symphony audio with CD changer. I would like to install a Parrot MKi9200 system, but i have some questions.

as i have found out, i have two options to install it: pass-through, and line in.

With the first option the internal 20W amp of the Parrot system will be used (which doesn't sounds like a great idea, because i would like to play MP3 from the USB port of the Parrot system)

With the second one, there is a problem: as far as i know the Symphony radio doesn't have line in.

But: it can be equipped with factory phone setup, and the Menu of the Symphony has an option when the internal speaker plays the phone audio.

As i have found out: if i choose the "line in" method, and then connects the Line in with a "mini ISO <> RCA" converter to the CD changer plug, then it will possibly work.

And the questions: Will it work ?

Do i have any other option to use the Parrot system with the amp of the Symphony HU ?

Thanks in advance,

Peter
