Vrs Estate in Steel Grey

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

Just ordered a Vrs Estate in Candy White. After all was signed, the wife started asking about steel grey...

The golf we are trading in is steel grey (albeit VW) and the one in the showroom that was supposedly steel grey looked nothing like it.

Apart from this thread (all i could find) http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/230420-octavia-number-11-has-landed/page__fromsearch__1

Is there anyone else with steel grey that can post a pic?

Thanks in advance.

What car though?

They had a Superb that they said was steel grey. It may have been the lifts in the showroom but it looked more satin grey.

Here is my car in Steel grey delivered in Jan this year. It is a Greenline, not a VRS but should give you an idea:

I have a white vRS but I would recommend steel grey or any other colur that isn't race blue. These are too common now.

Anthracite might be an option for you?

Heres mine:

Anthracite looks mint, but I can't say the same about steel grey...

Thanks for the pics, it looks like it has a blue tint/base? Where as the VW steel grey has a grey-silver tint/base...

Thanks, I was thinking about anthracite but... some photos it looks really good but others it looks purple?!

I have ordered the black neptunes and dont think they would go... Noted I could remove that option.

That's my vrs in the thread above. It's a bit darker in reality, I don't think black rims would go that well tbh; nor would they on anthracite.

No, just a cold overcast January day and a rubbish blackberry camera. There is no blue in reality, just the silver / grey base as you describe.

Thanks. Pretty sure I have convinced the wife to stick with Candy White :)
