15000 km first service

Featured Replies

Looking through the owners manual and service booklet I gather the only "major" thing to be done on the first periodical service is to have an oil change.

Other than that I understand the rest of the procedure is performing a periodical visual checkup like making sure the wear on the brake pads is ok ,liquid levels ok,tyre wear ok,etc.

Am I right thinking the only thing they will actually do is change the engine oil?

Thanks.

Yes, and link up to the diagnostics, and perform any "updates" that have emerged since you acquired the car.

Now is that the same for Variable servicing? I've got 11,000 miles until the first service, so will be at 18,000 miles will this just be an oil change or something more through?

yup the same. just had first service at 25000km and they changed the oil. Did visual check of different things.

did 2 software updates and changed back badge 'cause of ' white worm ' problem. Thats it.

Mine Yeti is 1,2 manual.

After service car uses more fuel then before. I complained ,they said its like not possible ,if anything it should be lower ,we just follow factory recomendations and so on...

In the city with lots of stop and go it used around 0,75l per km. Now its at 0,9l per km.

I can almost see fuel gauge dropping as I drive.
