Bolero - fast forward/reverse within a track? Solved!

Featured Replies

Am I missing something obvious or is it just not possible to move around within a track (either on a CD or on the SD card) on the Bolero. I tend to switch between listening to shorter music tracks and longer podcasts/radio programmes that might be up to 90 minutes long. If I stop playback of a podcast to listen to music, then switch back to the podcast I have to listen through it all again to hear the end of it.

If it can't be done I can always revert to my media player (and at last I get a proper AUX socket instead of needing a tape adapter or FM transmitter) or use the BT Audio option with the phone, but it isn't as convenient. Alternatively is there anyway of bookmarking a track, so it will resume where it left off? The system seems to do this for the track being played when the ignition is turned off, but I haven't seen anything in the manual about doing this at any other time.

I have a Bolero, if you touch and keep finger on the forward or reverse track buttons on screen then it will fast forward within the track. :sun:

Excellent! :sun: I'd tried that with the MFSW buttons initially but obviously hadn't pressed them long enough. I've looked back at the manual and it talks about a short press to move between tracks but makes no mention of the long press option, ho hum.

Never knew that. If there was a thanks button....

Glad to be of help :sun:
