Pollen or Pollution Filter?

Featured Replies

What's the difference?

The filter in my Octavia is white so I'm assuming it is therefore a pollen filter.

I've heard of 'carbon filters' being talked about on here which are suppossed to be a darker colour and from my limited research appear to be also called 'pollution filters'.

What's the difference and (as both will fit) which one should I buy?

The pollution filter is £2.50 more expensive (£11.99 vs. £9.50)...

The darker one is an active carbon / charcoal one which helps to minimise odours as well as reduce pollens coming into the cabin.

For an extra £2.50 I'd go for the black one .

Oooo, any chance of a link? The cheapest I've found is £11.99...

Any pollon would stay in either filter? if so may as well go for the pollution, as it seems do remove more nasty's. .
