Coil pack no.4

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anybody could tell me which coil is no.4. I've had a fault code come up as no.4 coil pack, but was wondering if it refers to the firing order or just the position of the coil pack looking from the front of the engine bay. I've got four new packs being done under warranty next week, but I want to use the car this weekend and was going to buy one just to get me through.

Thanks for any help

the one closest to the air filter,or the farest to the timing belt.

Cylinders are counted from the timing belt in general, there are a few exceptions.

Fault code on no4 is that in particular, has nothing to do with the firing order, wich is 1-3-4-2
