Any Revo VRS FL 2.0 tsi around?

Featured Replies

Hello, I just remapped with revo my 2012 octavia vrs and will try it for some days until i made a decision....

I have some questions regarding SPS unit and its capabilities in TSI engines, any one with this unit and car?

I am running Revo stage 1 performance mode 2 on my 2011 vRS tsi. Had it remapped the day after I drove it out the dealers and now done 17k. Didn't bother with the SPS but was tempted at Inters when they were doing them for £100. The SPS will switch between stock, performance modes 1, 2 & 3 but it won't immobilise the tsi.

Did the ECU need to be removed from the car and opened to bypass the inbuilt protection?

Not with mine.

Are you happy with the remap? I'm thinking of getting mine done. Do you know what sort of power your getting out of it? Can anyone recommend a place near york or leeds that do revo?

Very happy with it but never had it dynoed but will do soon. Make sure you get it set on performance mode 2 and run it on v-power. There's plenty of Revo agents around so should be one close to you. Revo's after sales support and general attitude towards anyone that challenges their ridiculous power claims is however appalling.

Rs Tunning in Leeds and TRL in Halifax, but out of the 2 Trl are more organised, Rs took 30 mins just to move cars out of the way. Really rate TRL, see here http://www.briskoda....s-and-workshop/

And as Jonno says make sure it has v power in it, it will map to that petrol, any less Octane map will not be the same
