Im Lew. Just about to buy my first Skoda (pick it up Friday).

It's a late 2004 Black Fabia Vrs PD 130. FSH, full mot and 2 previous owners with 79,000 miles. It'll be my first 'modern' common rail TDi engine. I have had a couple of older Rover TDi's but thats as far as my diesel experience goes. Been on a diet of petrol for the last few years.

Anyway, I have just sold my car to pump some money into a house deposit and with the change, I decided to get a small nippy diesel. I was looking at Seat Ibiza FR/CUPRA TDi models but TBH after looking at a few different options I prefered the Fabia.

I was eventually planning to get a stage 1 remap put on it as I hear they respond well to a tune, but I noticed REVO are doing a 20% off deal at the moment that ends in a couple of weeks so I wont hang around and will probably get it booked in ASAP!
