Dead coil pack?

Featured Replies

2.0 FSI Turbo - just changed the fuel pump cam follower and swapped out the PCV from a (suspected knackered) Rev C to a Rev N. I also replaced the breather hose from the PCV to the intake manifold after I snapped the clip when removing.

Car is now misfiring and VCDS shows the following. Am I right in thinking the coil pack on cylinder 1 is dead? There is a slight smell of fuel which I assume is because the fuel being injected into cylinder 1 is not being burned. Could it be another problem? Engine light came on initially but nothing since clearing the codes. If I swap number 1 coil pack over with another, is this going to cause any issues? Just thought it would help me diagnose the coil pack if I swapped coil 1 with coil 3 and got a misfire on 3.
