CAN-BUS Steering wheel controller ISO needed? Help!

Hi all,

I have bought a Clarion NX501e head unit and wanted to know if I need to buy a can-bus steering wheel controller ISO (like Connect2 CTCSK002) for it, or if a standard ISO will suffice?

I have a 2006 Octy VRS so I don't have any steering controls to operate but I have been told that I need it for a speed pulse connection for the sat nav.

Im not sure if the Clarion unit needs a speed pulse, so if not, do I need to bother with the can-bus ISO?

Confused :S

Any help fellas?

Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. If I press the outside button again, it'll drop back down again but I have to press down on the boot to get it to do the final catch. The button on the inside o

Database is maintained by Phonostar.de and Škoda doesn't hide that but one of their answer sounded similar to . . . Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. Hi all, I have my Fabia currently fitted with the base Swing head unit. I'd like to upgrade to Bolero or Amundsen, and it's important to me to stay strictly with original skoda/VAG parts - no aftermarket Android units or third-party adapters.
