Telephone-77 Fault codes?

Featured Replies

Some strange things have been happening to my car over the last couple of days, the alarm went off the other day when I opened it, then the horn tooted when I stopped and removed the key, and the interior lights came on when I unlocked it then went off straight away, and the doors lock and unlock randomly, so I scanned the car and got these faults:

Any help as to what I can do to try and find the fault?

Could it be something to do with speakers and my sub (although they have been in the car for 6 months with no problems)

Also my Bluetooth connection with my iPhone is rubbish, sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn't but I assumed it was just the iPhone playing up.

Help appreciated!

Reset the codes and see if they come back, unless they are effecting the CANBUS (could be a damaged loom) I wouldn't expect those codes to cause you other faults.

Might be worth checking that your battery connections are sound for the other issues if there are no codes logged in the central convenience or electronics modules.

Thanks mate!

I reset them that day so I'll scan it again tomorrow, but I did here it do the lock doors for no reason just after I reset everything an was getting in it shortly after.

The other thing is, when I connect to the nav module the stereo goes off then has a very high pitch sound I think it 2 bleeps. And when the sub's connected this does 2 loud thub's lol??

My Columbus goes into diagnostic mode when you connect to it (either direct or via an Auto Scan) and makes a nasty noise through the speakers, so that sounds normal.

Have you checked your earth connection from the battery ?

That's good to know!

Earth is sound from battery to body too.
