Hi folks.

I had a small mark on the casing of the driver's wing mirror where someone's clipped it. But after leaving it, it's beginning to peel. I've now got a peeling area around the original mark that's about 2x2cm. The mirror itself and the indicator bits are all fine.

(The paint's Black Magic, if it makes a difference.)

I know I haven't the skills to repaint it so I'll have to pay someone to do that... so I wondered if it'd be cheaper and easier to just replace the mirror housing instead with a pre-painted one?

The replacement mirror housings come primed ready for paint, so that won't be a shortcut for you :-)

Pretty straightforward to replace really. With the mirror glass out it effectively just clips off.
