Can Rear Drum Axle Be Upgraded to Disc and Caliper ?

Featured Replies

Ok well Recently i noticed that octy axles seems to share most things, they share the same wheel bearing, but i'am wondering if the drum and backplate can be removed and upgraded to disc and caliper, it seems this would be easier than buying a complete axle and swaping

it all over

Edit~

Would a mk4 Golf Disk Axle fit ?

Yep, no problems.

Need new cables to along with brake lines etc.

I take it the master cylinder and the servo are the same then?

Not trying to be funny, just making sure...since I have no idea...

Yes mate, certainly compatable.

I've done the same conversion on my Fabia
