Hi guys,

I have been leant a mates VAG-Comm for the weekend whilst he is away. I am interested in opening up two features on my car with it.

My Alarm doesn't activate for a start, lights flash but siren doesn't go off, so I'm going to get the error codes for that but I am also interested in;

1) Emergency hazards on heavy braking

-Byte 17 under Central Electrics

2) Car beeps along with indicator flash when I lock the car

-Byte 7 under Central Convenience long coding

When I have found the right 'byte' is it a matter of 00 = off and 01 = yes? As per binary?

I am an octy 2 56 plate vRS.

Any other neat features that I can activate please let me know?

Instead of the 00 and 01 is it as simple as ticking the requested activities box? I see the emergency brake flash light active, do j just tick the box next to it to activate it?

Both rear fogs is a good feature, it sounds( or not in your case ) like your alarm siren has packed in. If you are in it and alarmed and it does not go off it is kaput
