cupra r top engine mount

Featured Replies

That's a suspension top mount, not an engine top mount

Little bit stronger/stiffer than the 150/180ps car ones, allegedly

3x stock part price.

Wouldnt bother myself i just fitted new oem top mounts and bearings

I have them in mine and they are a tad stiffer than OEM, but unless you have coilovers and or harder suspension /bushes that are giving the top mounts a tougher time just go for OEM ones.

Yep they are 3 x the dam price...

You can get polyurethane top mounts now which also lower by 10mm which are about 40 quid,i dont personally have them on my car,i have some i bought from a group buy, they came from ina engineering in usa, there as hard as a brick.

I would not use them unless you were fitting coilovers and again stiffening suspension bushes as you will feel road surfcae a lot more.

They are typically used for coilover set ups when going low as you stated will lower car 10mm and allow the coilover to be raised 10mm to compensate to free up a bit more shock travel.

If you are not fitting I would take them off you as my suit my cars current set up.
