Dension iGateway/Gateway 100 as MDI alternative

Hi all. I have a Skoda Octavia vRS with the Bolero unit, with no MDI. I was considering getting MDI retrofitted, but I came across the Dension iGateway unit here:

This looks like it plugs in and basically appears to the Bolero as an MDI unit.

Has anyone tried one of these (or the Gateway 100, which I think is its predecessor)? Would you recommend it? Anything the MDI does that the Dension does not (or vice versa)?
