I bought this with the intention of putting it on my Fabia but have decided to go the hybrid route and think i need a FMIC.

Loads of info on these over on UK-MKIVs forums with vagcom data logging to prove reduced temps.

Designed for the 1.8T as a direct replacement, but will fit the TDI's with some pipework mods.

Great quality and excellent welds as you can see.

As said, brand new, only opened box to take the pic.

£90 delivered courier.

Where about r u? And how much bigger is this compared to original smic? Cheers

Im on the outskirts of Swindon, Wiltshire.

Its got a 3inch thicker main core, with the obvious metal end tanks for better flow. Good reviews over on UK- MKIVS.

Im quite often up and down the M4 if that helps anyone out for meeting up.

What would I need to make it fit a mk1 fabia vrs?

Would you be willing to post to Ireland?

If so what would the price be? PM me if needed, thanks in advance.

Basically the fabia pipes have the bayonet fitting, so chop those ends off and get some silicone pipe to join, or, buy the beyonet to normal hose couplers from eBay :). Supposed to be a great mod but it just wont fit in with my plans.hh

yhm

So is this a stright fit to a MK1 octavia VRS?

I believe so, yes.

just for info i bought one of these in the same group buy, it is double the size of the standard SMIC and it was a direct fit to a MK1 VRS, got good result on my stage 2 motor and was all good when logging.

Did this sell?

Still available?
