Hello

Just got my 06 Octavia VRS last week and looking into some small tweaks. But the first thing has me stumped. I know the pros and cons of both but are either of the options proven to be better on the octavia as I don't want to spen the money and have less power than I did originally.

The gains are minimal unless you go for a proven intake like Econs or ITG but even then they're unlikely to be noticeable. I have a carbonspeed cai on my tsi and it feels a bit more responsive and gives a bit more induction noise. You would be better off investing the money in a decent remap as this gives the most bang for your buck.
