Aalreet everyone. I've just popped my Skoda cherry so to speak. My wife and I recently had to buy a second car for nipping round town and to and from work. Glad to be free from the Toyota Prius we have, I managed to pick up a 98 Octavia GLXi with a years Mot and 1 previous owner for £500.

I am delighted with it. Even at 14 years old it feels like driving a new car. I've enjoyed reading up on the topics here and will regularly visit as I have learned, octavias of this age are not without Their foibles.
