Octavia VRS Mk1 (51 plate) Rally Red For Sale

Featured Replies

With regret I've decided to sell my VRS, this is mainly due to a change in work circumstances .

My progress report is here -http://www.briskoda....ed-octavia-vrs/

Here is the spec and history of the car.

Engine

122k with 15 stamps (last service prior to my ownership at 115k) Aftermarket DV. Stage '0' tune up ready for Stage 1 map, cambelt, water pump, thermostat new coolant, new NGK spark plugs, genuine air filter, Quantum Longlife III 5w 30 @ 121k, genuine oil filter, genuine fuel filter. Cleaned thottle body, ECU reset and throttle body adaption.

Exhaust

Milltek 2.5 inch cat back, single box non-resonated. New OEM rubber mounts, 3 inch downpipe and decat, not too loud, sounds great.

Suspension/Steering

AP 40/30mm lowering springs and shock kit, new strut top mount/bearings, Poly Steering rack bush, Poly ARB bushes, Audi TT spec rear wishbone bushes, OE front bushes replaced. New Lower strut brace. Both front wheel bearings replaced.

Wheels & Tyres

Stock 17 inch Spiders finished in dark grey metallic. Avon ZZ3 tyres all round. Replacement Skoda centre badges.

Styling

Plastidipped front grille surround and Octavia badge on rear. VRS number plate surrounds

Interior

Standard except for Leon centre armrest and silver di-noc centre console.

ICE & Security

Stock head unit with uprated FLI front speakers.

The car is taxed till the end of the year and MOT'ed until July next year.

I did intend to get it mapped to Stage Two hence the exhaust and downpipe, I have the intercooler kit for sale separately if the new owner wishes to follow that path.

As you can see from the above I have spent a good sum of money making it a solid base for further tweaks which was my intention but its easily returned back to OEM if required, I have the original suspension, exhaust/cat etc with this in mind.

I paid £2100 for this car just under 3 months ago, and I hate to think what I have spent on it since, I know I wont get everything back..

So, I will take £1850 for the car No Offers (with standard exhaust), or £2150 with the Milltek and 3 inch decat/DP.

Considering the exhaust alone cost £450, the decat has only been on there two weeks, I think thats a bit of a bargain!

As said, no offers on that price because I spent getting on for £1k easy since I got it!
