Plug lead on 2011 1.2 TSI

Featured Replies

Car engine light came on and the car was missing, skoda came out within the hour and replace the lead. car only done 17000 miles why has it fail already? been told is quiet common aswell by the technician, anyone else had same problem?

Sheesh, you would have thought that they went away from using pencil coil paks to improve reliability. How on earth can a plug lead fail at that age/mileage?

drop car off thursday morning, Car computer was reset but still not sorted problem, they still got the car over the weekend, i have a Fabia estate diesel,

What a difference between Octavia and Fabia

on start up the OCtavia settles down to near silence, the fabia sounds like a taxi with the diesel knock noticeable.

on the move both cars are very refine but even my 16 year daughter and her friend + a few other friends i had in car notice how bouncey the fabia ride is compare to Octavia

just glad i brought the OCtavia instead of thr fabia monte carlo i was going to buy.

the diesel is not that good round town either i get 34-36mpg in my dsg 1.2TSI, driving the same way/style only got me 44mpg in the Fabia

i happy pay a bit more at the pump then hear the diesel knock when idling
