Bluetooth Modules

Featured Replies

I'm looking at retrofitting bluetooth to my Blackline when it arrives and I've seen two bluetooth modules that I think will work. I'm not after rSAP functionality because I've got an iPhone so would either of these two modules;

5K0 035 730 D

7P6 035 730 K

allow me to use the Amundsen+ and maxidot to dial/recieve calls and to stream music?

Thanks in advance.

I'm using a 5K0035730 rev b but that's for a Bolero on a car registered Jan 2011 (with Maxidot).

I got it from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/carsystemsnaviaccesories. I just emailed him, told him want i'd got and he told me the unit to use.

Shipped from Poland in 3days - very good service (and good kit too)

I have Admundsen+, RNS315, in 2012 model year Octavia. Unit didn't have BT to be activated so I bought 3C8035730C.

I got it installed yesterday and it's working fine with Nokia Lumia (no rSap). Mic is connected directly to BT unit as I read that loop through Admundsen doesn't work.

Only problem on installation was p&p adapter cable extending original connection behind the radio. Simply there was no enough room behind and connector was too bulky to slide side in back radio slot. I made some cut back right side of radio slot to position extension connector there.

With this combination, Wheel, HF audio, BT audio streaming and Voice commands are working just fine.

Even i don't need GSM radio on BT unit right now I liked to connect it on original antenna.

I have '9W5 carphone prepration' on my car. I read somewhere that it only means GSM antenna. I removed roof trim from the back to look connections on antenna and yes there is purple connector for GSM and it has cable attached. At least it was not behind radio and couldn't find it below passenger seat either (this is non UK car)

Does anybody know where the other end of GSM antenna is located?

Really. None has a clue where the cable end of GSM antenna is located?

Tear down of car interior is not so preferred to find this... but may be it's needed..need to consider still :sweat:

Hi I have Bluetooth from factory fit, my module at the moment is 5N0 035 730 B, if I swap this for the 5K0 035 730 B will I be able to use my iPhone for calls and music through my bolero? I have found one on eBay for about £80, also is this the best module to get there seems to be a few that do the same job and would I need any coding after the change?
