Which tool to remove terminals?

Featured Replies

I need to remove the uninsulated terminals from blocks 1 & 2 on this diagram (it's the quadlock connector behind the head unit if it's not clear):

What tool do I need to get them out of the quadlock?

Is this one from Laser the right one?

Anyone got any tips on using them?

Thanks.

I found one guide here: http://www.google.co...yqSSJpyQyWJKDsg

You can refer Page-7, I hope that is what you are looking for.

Most Connectors I have seen have this general mechanism as mentioned in this guide, which is to locate and release the "Locking" lever and then releasing the Terminal by pricking a hole next to it with a needle like pin.

Thank you all.

Is there only one locking tab on these terminals as I cannot get to both sides of them from the front (but can from the back)?

Logic says that the tabs are easier to release from the front (if you can get to them).
