Dunlop Sport Maxx (RT)

Featured Replies

Just had these fitted to the Octavia.

225/40/18.

These are the latest (RT race tyre) and not the older Version. Coming from and being a big big fan of the Goodyear Assymetric 2 I really think the Dunlop have pinched it to pole position. Dry grip is phenomenal on par with the Assymetrics, but wet weather the Dunlop comes into its own league. I try a couple of time coming off a short slip road I braked hard an tried to get the ABS to kick in but was unsuccessful only to feel like my kidney was sitting on my lap. Really very impressed with the levels if wet grip. The tread grooves are the thickest I've seen (thicker than my finger) almost like F1 wets. Wouldn't say they are the quietest. I certainly won't be buying anything else in a hurry now.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk whilst in a taxi rank
Goodyear Dunlop the same company, but for me at present I'd pick the Dunlop over the Goodyear version, two of the best all rounders at the moment. .
