Hi folks. Just fitted a set of eibachs today. Is there a right and wrong way to fit the springs and is there a way of telling what is the front or back on the strut top mount

The Springs have to be installed with the text the correct way up (So a nice man at eibach, via bilstein told me).

As for the strut mounts, they have front/rear arrows on them. The installation instructions tell you how these should be fitted.

Has anyone had a white band appear along the very bottom of the windscreen since fitting the springs. Took mine to garage to check correct fitment of strut tops for it to come back with this white band the plastic trim isn't fitting correctly in the corners (plastic that hid

es the top of strut mount bolts and window wipers sit on) and 2 chips out of 1wheel. :-(

Is it milky white or stress white?

I had that along the bottom of the screen of my last one. It looked as though the laminate was seperating

It appeared for no particular reason after about 10 months of ownership. It never got any worse but i did point it out to the dealer. We just kep't an eye on it.
