So i dont know if this will be the case in all tescos but my local is selling castrol edge by the litre 5w40 with all the vw specs plastered all over it

Anyway they are selling per litre and they are £11.97 per litre reduced to £2.79, so i bought 8 with what cash i had. Worth a check in yours if its a blanket offer

It was not on in Forfar on Thursday, because i checked before going back to 'Home Bargain' for a second lot of 8 Litre bottles

for £6.99 each, 5w 40 Fully Synthetic.

Tesco Forfar had it 'Reduced by £2.79 to £11.00 i think. Yellow Sticker.

I will check tomorrow.

Your Tesco might have just dropped/ SLASHED it to beat Asda on a Price Match.

Seen it happen for 1 day.

blairgowrie mate, i went back down to see and they are out of stock, they said it was just an in store thing cos they hadnt sold 1 in the time stocking it.

No wonder at £13 a litre or what ever it was at!!

I still think they made a mistake, i will see tomorrow morning.

There we go then,

i will have to go back for scanning for errors again.

I find bigger mistakes in Asda than Tesco & always make sure i have a card handy to take advantage.

So anyone,

this week was 'Home Bargain', 1 litre @ 6.99, Castrol Edge 5w 40.

4 litres £27.96 is 'Much Cheapness'. Maybe still going as an offer.

Tesco were asking £16.47 a litre for 0w 30 & its still £12 in my local store..
