Please bear with me on this one...

My old octy, does not have remote central locking as standard. Is it possible to either Re-code the ccu using vcds, or to fit a new ccu from an octy with remote locking, then acquire a key fob and code it to match in either case?

If a re code is possible for the original ccu, how would this be done, ie. login details etc

I am sure someone knows, its just a case of the right person reading this.

I have been getting a rubbing noise from the rear end of my 2020 kodiaq when turning left and right, I've had it in the garage a few times but been told by Arnold Clark it's a noise all kodiaq like mine make 🤷 then I spoke to Skoda who told me they a talking complete nonsense, anyone had this issue that can help me out please

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).
