could anyone let me know if the discs on my L n K 1.9 tdi 130pd estate are 280 or 288mm on the fronts. Any info would be much appreciated.

288mm front discs, and anticipating the next question, the DS3 calipers.

no next question lol. just need to replace the discs n pads as discs very worn and 280 and 288mm are listed for the car. thanks for the info.

Ok, look at the front caliper. If it has "FS III" cast into it, you have 280mm discs; otherwise you have 288mm, or a non-standard fitment, and it's very easy to upgrade the DS3 caliper from 288mm to 312mm discs; all you need are the discs, new pads, and the right caliper brackets, which can be bought from VW and Audi spares departments.
