I'm looking to change the OME head Unit to one of the following but I'm not sure which is better. Being a tart I've picked two that I like the look of rather than going on spec totally though both seem to do the same sort of things.

One is the Sony CDX-F7750S and the other is the Pioneer DEH-P80MP anyone got some experience of either of these or any advice?

Go for the pioneer.............. reason being I work for them

Had pioneer in the past and thought they were ok, last Sony was good too but it got nick :(

Also anyone know where I can get a good deal on one of the above? I did order the pioneer one over 3 weeks ago but the supplier mucked me around too much so I canx the order

I have a Sony H/U in mine at the moment (I used to work for Sony as well) and its pretty decent (M1000TF). Very happy with it although I'm saving up for the Pioneer P90RS at the moment.

been looking at Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB52 DAB / MP3 / CD receiver it has a big spec list.

Are they any good? Is DAB woth the money?

I have one - and it's good. CD sound quality noticeably better than radio, but radios pretty good too

flatfourthingy: the Blaupunkt DAB52 is a superb piece of kit. I have one in my Accord Type-R and I adore the DAB element - feels like they've shortened the M62 since the install. I had a factory-fit Pioneer in before which was rubbish.

I really love my Pioneer DEH-7700MP. Looks great in the Fabia dash, and the illumination is spot on. It sounds really nice and balanced, and has all the toys such as 3 pre-outs, independant sub control, fancy blue OEL display etc. Can't recommend it enough, especially for bang for buck (which imo is what the Fabia vRS is all about!).

One tip I'd recommend is don't buy the Autoleads fascia adapter. The Skoda one from your dealer is only
