Its still leaking !

Featured Replies

Its still allowing water in after stripping the head lining down and refitting and cleaning the drain holes ! Iv'e just read about adjusting the strike plate ? what is this cheers .

Or could it be door seals ?

swmbo rang me this morning at work and the little recess on the side of the seat was full of water I thought the door hadnt been shut properly but no it was !

Headlining is dry as a bone so its not the pipes again !

Any ideas please cheers

If the little storage pocket on the side of the seat base is full of water then it has to be the door seal.

I once left my passenger side door partially closed (secured on the latch but not fully closed) overnight. It rained heavily and the little storage compartment was full by morning but everything else was bone dry!

Clever design!

But sadly dosen't work if you leave the window open! DAMHIK.

I would put my money on the door seals but surely not the door carrier seals if your refering to the membrane behind the door card ?????

Sit in the car and get someone outside to douse round the door with a hose. Should soon show where it's dripping.
