VW POLO 1.4 16V 03.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Sine the Mrs's Fiat Grande Punto kept buttering up so much with annoying little electrical and other faults we've got shot and bought a tidy little Polo, it's got 51k on the clock and a full MOT only faults are a slight blow in the exhaust and the button on the drivers door for the passenger electric window will open the window but not close it, for that you have to lean across and use the button on the passenger door. Anyone have any clues on what up? I'm going to take it apart and have a look between Christmas and the new year.

Also does anyone know of any other faults I should look out for?

And on a completely unrelated note while looking for a car for the Mrs I came across a Seat Altea Freetrack 4 in dark grey, it's safe to say I now want one! I think the renault may get traded in next year! :)

Cheers.

Mike.

Faulty switch? Simple digital multimeter will tell you if its working!
