& sometimes you can press it and the windows are left open

& it can become some scroats car, or at least they can have your valuables away.

Yes. Its a stupid feature. By putting the key in the door and holding it to open position does the same on VAG cars. Ive seen a number broken into in this way by causing only damage to the key hole.
