I am finding the load carrying capabilties of my Octavia estate pretty poor, with a bit of equipment in the boot and a smallish trailer attached it is on its bump stops and has broken both back springs in 12 months. I don't really want to go for uprated (stiffer) springs as it will destroy the ride quality when it is not laden. Has anyone fitted air assisted type suspension to one? I can't find anyone that makes a kit for a Mk2 Octavia but had wondered about the rear air bag/shock units off an Audi Allroad or similar or Airide bags from an Ex AA/RAC VW Transporter van as both seem to appear on Ebay quite regularly.

The Octy is well know for a saggy bottom
